REMINDER: Submissions Due Friday, March 12th
The CT Training & Technical Assistance Center with the support from local agencies and organizations around the state, is bringing awareness of pedestrian and roadway safety to Connecticut. Help make the Eleventh Annual Roadway Safety Poster Contest for Children with a special theme: Let's Walk! Pedestrian Safety for Everybody a huge success in 2021!
We want to make roadway safety, which includes ALL users, a priority and are asking the children of Connecticut to help promote roadway safety through art. The poster contest is for children grades K-5. We will have winners in multiple groups; grades K-1, 2-3, and 4-5. We are looking for creative posters illustrating pedestrian and roadway safety concepts from a child's point of view.
We are accepting submissions until March 12th. Students grades K-5 are invited to submit their original artwork for a chance to win big prizes and to be recognized by the CT Transportation community. This year's prizes include: Chromebooks for winners and gift cards and a variety of goodies for the runner-ups.
Whether you'd like to complete the posters during indoor recess, art class, or have students enter them in a school-wide competition, please support this program and help us spread the word on how to be responsible road users.
To help achieve the goal of keeping children safe on the road, please share the following contest information with:

  • Teachers
  • Community members
  • Parents in their child's digital backpack
