Renter's Rights & Issues Panel

Join us for the third weekly meeting of the Colorado Social Legislation Committee in 2019! Members and the general public are always welcome at our weekly Monday panels! We gather every Monday at noon at First Baptist Church, 1373 Grant Street. All attendees are invited to bring their own lunch; coffee, tea and water are provided. This week we will be doing a Renter's Rights & Issues Panel, and we have five wonderful panelists. View event flyer for details.

Aging Caucus Meeting Scheduled for Feb 6th
The first Aging Caucus meeting of the session hosted by the Strategic Action Planning Group on Aging (SAPGA) is scheduled for Wednesday, February 6th from 7:30AM to 8:45AM in House Committee Room 0107 at the Capitol.
Presentation topics will be: highlights of the 2018 Strategic Action Plan, long term services and supports cost projection research by the Colorado Health Institute, and an update from Hayley Gleason, Older Adult Policy Advisor at Department of Health Care Policy and Finance, on how the Department is taking steps to plan for Colorado’s changing demographics. There will be time for Q&A. Attendees can call-in to listen with 605-472-5561, passcode 507406# or are welcome to attend in person.
2019 Outreach to Legislators
Colorado Senior Lobby is working with the Colorado Association of Area Agencies on Aging (c4a) to produce and distribute informative flyers that review the work Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) do to serve older adults in Colorado. These flyers will be distributed to Colorado Legislators every other week with the assistance of Representative Jonathan Singer (D) – District 11, Boulder County and Senator Nancy Todd, (D) – District 28, Arapahoe County.
