James calls himself a "Texas Artist." Among his favorite subjects are Texas landscapes. He also creates beautiful "memorabilia still lifes" and vivid, colorful abstract paintings.He has an especial liking for painting cars of every make and model.

Gene specializes in portrait painting. He has painted hundreds of portraits, as well as a wide array of other subjects. Commissions include men, women, children, executives, academic leaders, government officials and family groups. He also creates Cowboy Pop Art paintings that feature classic Western themes. Website

Oil

Linda paints a wide array of subjects including landscapes, florals, portraits and still lifes. She applies great discipline to her works that include colorful oils, watercolors and pastels.

Lana specializes in bright colorful florals, landscapes and figurative paintings. Subjects sometime include animals like birds, mammals and aquatic life. Her works are full of life and spontaneity, vibrant hues and dramatic brushstrokes.

Thalla is the newest artist to exhibit the gallery. She works primarily in oils and creates works based on an array of themes and subject matter…including figurative work, landscapes, fantasy themes, portraiture, animals and more. Thalla’s home and studio is in Lindale, Texas.

Watercolor
Michael is a world-famous watercolor artist who is known for vivid landscapes and figurative works. He has won major awards from Asia to Europe and throughout the U.S. He is also a remarkable watercolor instructor.

Jan Lorine

Oil

Jan Lorine, a returning artist to Rail Station Studios, enjoys drawing and painting a wide variety of subjects in a many mediums. She enjoys the challenge of seeing and capturing the likeness and character of her subject, be it a person, place or thing.
