SOS Informational Forum
Tuesday, March 21
6:30 to 8 p.m.
on the St. Paul campus of
University of St. Thomas
Dear SOS volunteers, supporters and community members,

GET YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
RE: Summit Ave. Regional Bike Trail &
road reconstruction

WHO: SOS (Save Our Street) citizen group will be your hosts. We seek to educate and advocate for preserving the historic streetscape of Summit Avenue as a treasured St. Paul destination and a safe, tree-lined, multi-modal corridor for generations to come.

WHAT: An informational forum presented by SOS on what the City of St. Paul’s proposed regional bike trail and road construction along Summit Avenue will mean for you as bikers, walkers, students, neighbors, business owners, environmentalists and tax payers.

WHEN: 6:30 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 21, 2023 University of St. Thomas campus. We will deliver an overview of the main issues, and then break into leader-led small groups to allow for easier Q & A sessions.

WHERE: In the main floor auditorium, inside the O’Shaughnessy Education Center (OEC). Free parking is available directly next to the OEC. Turn into parking lot G from Cleveland Avenue (north of Summit, between Portland and Ashland Avenues). We will have signage. You can also park along Cleveland Avenue. See UST Campus Map Building 5 (OEC)

WHY: Once the trees are gone and the avenue has been re-arranged, there’s no going back. We need your voices now! And if you are a Saint Paul taxpayer, you will be paying for this, and you will pay even more if you own a residence on Summit Avenue.

One More Thing: Please invite friends and neighbors.
This trail will effect us all.
