Dear TAPA Seniors and Families,
Although there is much we do not know for certain this year, we do know how important it is to our seniors and their families to celebrate their amazing years at TAPA. Celebrating TAPA’s Class of 2021 is incredibly important to all of us, and we have been thinking about creative ways to do so this year.
At this time, we have two tentative dates for senior events. The first is Friday, June 4th for Senior Awards Night at Yawgoo Bakes, an outdoor event venue in Exeter, RI, and the second is Thursday, June 10th for graduation at McVinney Auditorium in Providence. In the best case scenario, we will be able to have both an in-person Senior Awards Night on Friday 6/4 and an in-person Graduation on Thursday 6/10, though it is possible COVID requirements mean we have to combine the two. However, we do not know exactly what the future will bring in terms of our ability to hold large events in any setting.
Please note: the last week in May and the first two weeks in June are jam-packed for TAPA seniors. Between senior arts shows, senior thesis defenses, college orientations, Senior Awards Night, and graduation, it is all but guaranteed that our seniors have special commitments most days and nights of these weeks. Mark your calendar for these weeks being a busy, joyful time!
Finally, seniors are asked to submit their Graduation Cap & Gown Order Form before Wednesday, March 24th. There are no senior dues this year given the pandemic. We are so excited to celebrate this incredible senior class together!
Sincerely,
Eliza Bryant
