A NOTE FROM
SUPERVISOR LEAH VALENTI
Election Day is almost here! With the November 3 General Election just days away, I want to remind Charlotte County voters of a few important steps to help ensure a smooth and efficient voting experience.
First and foremost, know where to vote! If you plan to vote on Election Day, you must cast your ballot at your assigned polling location. I encourage everyone to take a moment to confirm their precinct before heading to the polls. You can easily find your polling location by visiting SOECharlotteCountyFL.gov and clicking on “Where Do I Vote?”
For those who prefer to vote early, Early Voting continues through Saturday, October 31, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at our four Early Voting locations throughout Charlotte County.
I also strongly encourage voters to review, complete, and bring their sample ballot when voting in person. With three proposed constitutional amendments and three county referendums on the ballot, taking the time to familiarize yourself with the issues and make your selections in advance can significantly streamline your voting experience. By law, a Vote-by-Mail ballot may not be used as a sample ballot!
Vote-by-Mail ballots MUST be received in the Elections Office by 7:00 p.m. Election Night to count. Do not utilize USPS at this point as it is too late, please return your ballot by personal delivery to a Secure Ballot Intake Station.
Our dedicated Election Workers and Supervisor of Elections team have been working diligently to prepare for November 3, and we look forward to serving you.
Whether you vote-by-mail, early or on Election Day, being informed and prepared makes a difference. Thank you for taking an active role in our election process.
Your Vote is Your Voice!
Warm regards,
Leah Valenti
