  • Post Signs: Signs originally developed for Ebola are generic and should be posted for COVID-19. The Department’s required signage for international travel are generic and apply to any infectious disease. • Utilize Updated Resource in Chinese: For the response to the novel coronavirus, an additional translation in simplified Chinese has been created and is available, along with the other resources for providers, at the following link. https://www.health.ny.gov/diseases/communicable/coronavirus/providers.htm
  • Update Policies and Procedures: Facilities should have policies and procedures in place for screening patients.
  • Refer to NYSDOH Webpage: The best source of information for providers is the Information for Providers button on the Coronavirus banner on the DOH main website page. This is the link to get there directly: https://www.health.ny.gov/diseases/communicable/coronavirus/providers.htm
