DROP OFF

  • For families who drop off in the morning: Please remember to stay in the line, pull up and please do not get out of your vehicle. If you do help your child out of the vehicle, please pull up to the front of the line.

DISMISSAL REMINDER

  • For families picking up at the end of the day: Please remember to loop the end of the pick up line through the bus garage parking lot and along the fence. Additionally, continue to pull forward in line even if this means your child has to meet you in a different portion of the line. Lastly, all families must use the app and announce their child upon arrival. The efficiency and safety of the line relies on families using the app and pulling forward (even when you can see your child coming). There should not be large gaps in the line. We appreciate your understanding!

COATS/WINTER APPAREL

  • Please remember to send your child with snow boots and snow pants every day. Additionally, send shoes to wear inside. All students will go outside, though those without the proper gear are required to stay on the blacktop to avoid getting too wet. Please remember to label all items including coats, hats, gloves etc. If you need help providing the necessary gear, please contact the main office.

MEDICATION FORM POLICY

  • If your child takes medication at school, written authorization from parents/guardians and or medical professionals is required using the district form. An "Administration of Medication Form" is available in the office and must be filled out prior to administering any medication. This is for prescription and over the counter medication. Medication must be dropped off by an adult to the main office and cannot go back and forth with students.

I-CHAT FORMS

  • Please make sure if you plan on entering the building you have completed a I-Chat form and it has been approved by the Board of Education Office. If you are uncertain please call the main office prior to visiting. There is a form attached but if you another form sent home please contact the main office, (989) 275-6610.

ATTENDANCE CALLS

  • When your student is absent please remember to call the attendance line to excuse their absence. Please call (989) 275-6612. For any other questions or concerns please call the main office line at (989) 275-6610.

EARLY PICK UPS

  • If you need to pick up your student earlier than the normal 3pm dismissal time the latest you can do that would be 2:35pm at the main office door. Anytime later than that please join the carline.

AFTER SCHOOL

  • If your child is enrolled in an afterschool program but will be missing the program for the evening, please update in PikMyKid or call the main office before 1:30p.

Colder Weather
The weather is beginning to turn cold. Please send your student to school with outdoor clothing. All students play outside, so it’s important that they come ready for colder days. If you feel like your child needs to stay inside, please send a physician’s note to the classroom teacher. The teacher then can direct the child to the office during recess.

Lost and Found
The Lost and Found is located in the cafeteria. If your child is missing an item, please have your childmake sure to check in the lost and found for it. Every few weeks, students are encouraged to check for any missing items.  At the end of each semester, unclaimed items are donated to a local charity.
