OARC to Exhibit at SuperComputing Conference in November
This November, OARC will participate in the SuperComputing 2018 conference in Dallas, Texas as a Research Exhibitor, joining peer research and BIG10 universities for the second consecutive year. OARC will host a booth to meet and talk with the world's leading experts in High Performance Computing, networking, storage, and analysis. In addition to highlighting visual research of Rutgers' faculty, staff, and students, OARC will also feature a live demonstration of the Eastern Regional Network (ERN) federation on the booth floor. NSF Data Management Plans Made Easy: Introducing ezDMP - October 26
Join Dr. Helen Berman, Board of Governors Distinguished Professor Emerita of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, for a workshop focused on learning about a new tool for writing Data Management Plans for National Science Foundation grants. Lunch will be provided, and there will be time to test the tool. Bring your own laptop if you plan on attending.

New Jersey Small Business Development Center to Host NIH SBIR/STTR Training Conference - November 16
Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs are among the largest sources of early-stage capital for technology commercialization in the U.S. On November 6, the New Jersey Small Business Development Center will host a seminar intended to provide participants with an overview of SBIR/STTR programs with a focus on the
National Institutes of Health and three of its largest institutes - the National Institute on Aging, the National Cancer
Institute, and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Following the morning seminar and a
networking lunch in collaboration with Rutgers' Research Commercialization team, guest speakers will be available for one-on-one appointments with attendees. Learn more

Endnote X9, a citation management tool, is now available to all Rutgers affiliated students, faculty, and staff through University Libraries. Dreyfus Prize in the Chemical Sciences
The
Dreyfus Prize in the Chemical Sciences
is awarded to an individual in a selected area of chemistry to recognize exceptional and original research that has advanced the field in a major way. The prize consists of a monetary award of $250,000, a medal, and a certificate. There is no restriction on the number of nominees from a given institution, nor is institutional approval required.
Application deadline: February 28, 2019.
