FREMONT RE-2 STAFF AND COMMUNITY
I hope this message finds you well and you were able to have a relaxing and uneventful holiday break. Thank you to everyone who used our district Report COVID at Re-2 google form to communicate over the break. It was very helpful and has allowed us to expedite the decision making process. The following outlines our return to school plan through Thursday, December 17th, unless it is otherwise determined necessary to change our course. We have worked collaboratively with the Fremont County Department of Public Health and Environment in development of our return to school plan.
PRE-SCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY
Fremont Elementary School: return to in-person learning beginning Tuesday, December 1st.
Penrose Elementary School: return to in-person learning beginning Tuesday, December 1st.
Parents please understand that the elementary CDLS online learning program slots are full through the remainder of the school year. Our staff and teachers are working very hard to maintain in-person learning for students. It is not practical to ask that teachers manage in-person and remote learning models simultaneously for the students in their classroom.
FLORENCE JR/SR HIGH SCHOOL
Florence Jr/Sr High School: return to the following hybrid schedule beginning Tuesday, December 1
7th and 8th grade students:
In-person learning on Mondays and Wednesdays
Remote learning on Tuesday and Thursdays
9th through 12th grade students:
In-person learning on Tuesday and Thursdays
Remote learning on Mondays and Wednesdays
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation for elementary students will run as normal.
Transportation for Jr/Sr High School students will run as normal.
2 WiFi Buses will be available:
FJSHS parking lot from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday thru Thursday
Outside District Transportation building from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday thru Thrusday
MEALS
Florence Jr/Sr High School students will be able to pick up additional meals for designated remote learning days when they are in-person learning.
