I’m getting so anxious for Thanksgiving that I just wrote next week’s newsletter!!! Oh, boy, does my head calendar need adjustment! It’s a newsletter that you WON’T want to miss, by the way. It leads you right into all of our BIG SAVINGS from Black Friday through Cyber Monday, and it will be our last BIG SALE of the year. So don’t miss it, please…it keeps me awake at night and now I realize I have one more week to wait! But as an FYI…we will close Thanksgiving Eve at 1 pm, so we can delve into the food prep and all the fun. | |
For those of you doing Bags byAnnie with Lynn M., she will have a clean-up class for you this Thursday from 9:30-3, so bring all your unfinished projects (or start a new one) and let’s get them done for Christmas presents: either for ourselves or as gifts. She will also be teaching, as a new project the Clam Up Bag, and this is a series of bags starting small and graduating up in size. Make one on Thursday, or make them all…your choice. Don’t quite get finished? Come in Friday evening and finish up with Pajama Mamas. It’s a great group, and you’ll have a chance to shop until 7:30 or so when we’ll close the register, but you can continue to sew on any project you choose until the group has wilted and decides to go home (usually about 11-ish). | |
Don’t forget to re-join us on Saturday with Ramona and Software: Get Savvy. She will be teaching a very fun and timely project: Greeting Cards!!! How cool to get a handmade, unique keepsake card from a family member. The card can even go up on your Christmas tree next year and every year thereafter. They are quick to do, and your software design can be anything you want it to be: simple or extravagant, elegant or wildly colorful. Bring lots of scraps and ribbons and tulle or mylar to place on your cards; let your imagination go crazy and let your card truly come from you and your heart. How fun! But sign up and get the supply list of things to bring to class so you don’t leave cardless. We do carry buttons, ribbons, mylar, colored vinyl, colored vinyl sparkle, glitter/glue (NOT messy), and so much more for inspirations! Leave your mark on your cards…… | |
A reminder that Jan will be teaching Edge To Edge Hoop Quilting Camp, beginning Nov. 27-29. You asked for it, and here it is! Pay to reserve your seat, and get your supply list, and get ready! You will learn the technique, and then you can branch out in any direction with hoop quilting on your domestic machine!!! Jan has done a lot of edge to edge quilting, so be prepared to learn and practice with her guidance. | |
