Ready for Summer!

Happy June, this vibrant month brings us high sun energy, a bounty of life and a celebration of the senses. First, a big thank you to everyone who joined us for our 19th Annual Spring Trunk Show last month! It was such a joy to see familiar faces, and we hope each of you found a crystal that resonated with your spirit.

Although we couldn’t showcase everything at the Trunk Show, we’ve been busy behind the scenes preparing a stunning array of new crystals, minerals, and metaphysical tools. Our upcoming move means even more space to share the full spectrum of what we offer including many one-of-a-kind pieces you haven’t seen yet! Mark your calendars for our Grand Opening & Rock Fest this August. It’s going to be a celebration you won’t want to miss.

Father's Day was first celebrated in 1910, but didn't become a national holiday until 1972. This year, it will be celebrated on Sunday, June 15th. Whether giving your father-figure a fossil, paper weight, or rustic gift, you can take comfort knowing that a gift from Nature's Treasures is timeless.

As the days stretch to their longest and the sun reaches its highest point in the sky, the Summer Solstice on June 20th marks a time of new beginnings, growth, and abundance. This vibrant turning point is beautifully complemented by June’s Strawberry Moon on June 11, a full moon traditionally linked to personal growth and transformation. This is a great time to gather your favorite crystals, set your intentions and tap into the full moon’s luminous energy. Think of it as your cosmic prep work for the energetic shifts that will unfold with the Summer Solstice. Together, they offer a powerful reminder to slow down, step outside, and tune into the rhythms of the Earth whether by walking barefoot on the grass, gathering under moonlight, or simply noticing the beauty around us. This sacred paring encourages us to honor the light within and without, nurture our intentions, and deepen our relationship with the world that sustains us.

The Big Move to 11055 N IH35 - Updates

Build-Out Catch-Up

Austin Energy has us on their schedule for inspection and the build-out is progressing nicely. Our glass windows have been replaced, the floors are finished, and the restrooms are renovated! As soon as we have power, we will tackle security, phones and networking the property. There are a few other loose ends to tie up, but we are hopeful that this month we can begin moving.

We will continue offering you TWO LOCATIONS to shop from during this transition. As promised our Crystal Boutique at the 11055 Event Center AND our Retail Showroom at the 4103 Classic Location are now both open 7 days a week! Visit our Showroom from 11a-6p or our Crystal Boutique from 12-5p.

After updates from our General Contractor, here is our current (not set in stone) plan for the Big Move:

June - Upgrade power meter, add networking and security, complete multi-phased move one department at a time to best serve customers; set-up new space & work on signage
July - Settling in and soft opening at our new location
August - 25th Anniversary Rock Fest Celebration & Grand Opening!

Astrology Overview for June 2025!

To get to June, we need to start with the last of May. On May 26th, the New Moon occurred in Gemini, prompting a new beginning. This lunation brought a fresh start to our lives, prompting a new beginning, particularly with our communications and mental orientation. We carry this energy into the month of June. By consciously tuning in to positive Gemini energy, we learn through others simply by being curious, and we improve our social and communication skills at the same time. We open our minds to more information, and we learn to truly enjoy the variety of different personalities around us.

Also again, if you have any planets or angles in the early degrees (0°-3°), you may be feeling a lot of intensity and need to change in profound ways. This is because of Pluto (of course) is at 3°, but also so are Jupiter, Neptune, Saturn and briefly, Mars. Depending on where the planets are falling in your chart, you are likely to be feeling a need to leave the old behind and step into a new identity which may not be fully clear right now. There may well be a reshuffling of relationships and with the Sun and Moon involved this could be family-related. Know that this is happening for many people right now, we are all on our own soul journey, so bless those relationships and move on into new soul groups which will gradually appear for you.

Chris, who also responds to "Meow" and "Jasper", grew up in Southeast Houston and moved to Austin in 2016. With a B.A. from Sewanee University of the South, he still pursues the Studio Arts, including drawing, painting, and jewelry making. You may encounter him tinkering with jewelry displays, assisting with Retail Showroom operations, or out and about representing Nature's Treasures at a Trade Show. Ask Chris about the sport of Orienteering if you're curious about a fun way to engage with the wild outdoors!
