WEED FREE BABY TOOLKIT IS NOW AVAILABLE!

Now that marijuana is legal in California, there is an alarming rise in pregnant and new moms using the drug. There is also an assumption that marijuana is relatively safe because it is perceived to be "natural", but there is no known safe amount of marijuana to use while pregnant or breastfeeding.  The Weed Free Baby campaign was launched to  to help pregnant and breastfeeding moms understand the impact of marijuana use.  A NEW Weed Free Baby toolkit features various resources (fact sheets, FAQ, web banners, social media content, etc.) to help service providers inform parents about the possible dangers of using marijuana while pregnant or breastfeeding.  View more information here
