WUSD Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten Registration Opens in February
The Washington Unified School District (WUSD) 2017-18 Transitional Kindergarten & Kindergarten registration packets will be available for pick up starting January 30th at your local school. Get a head start on the process today by gathering the required information and remember to turn in your packet to your school's main office on opening day of registration:

Saturday, February 25, 2017  Time: 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
  • A child is eligible for Kindergarten if his/her 5th birthday falls on or before September 1, 2017.
  • A child is eligible for Transitional Kindergarten if his/her 5th birthday falls on or between September 2, 2017 and December 2, 2017.
We encourage you to visit your school office to pick up a packet and ask questions first-hand. You can also contact the WUSD Student and Family Support Services Office at (916) 375-7600 ext. 1370 with additional questions regarding the registration process.
Where do I register?
You will need to register your child at his/her neighborhood school. Please visit our website to use our school locator software found under the “About WUSD” tab.

What do I need to bring?
• Child’s birth certificate
• Immunization records (must be up-to-date)
• Proof of address (utility bill, mortgage / rental agreement)
• Physical (must be dated after Aug 2016)
• Dental exam
