A Message from Experience Prince George’s President & CEO
|
Hello everyone and welcome to September!
I love this time of year. For me, this month signifies change and growth as we close the splendor of summer, to open the renewed energy of fall.
This time last year, we were glued to our devices looking for things to do, unaware of how soon we would return to in-person events.
Well, if you’ve been waiting to get out, there are many choices this month from live concerts and outdoor entertainment, to food and drink venues hosting special events.
We honor International Underground Railroad month and encourage you to learn about the county’s history, involvement, and the people who brought about change.
We also celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month – from mid-September until mid-October – and the cultural fabric and contributions of our Hispanic communities.
It’s a great time to be living in, working in, and exploring Prince George’s County!
Let’s continue to do our part to maintain the safety and wellness of all.
Your tourism and hospitality champion,
Leslie W. Graves
