The 2025 Canadian Culinary Championship showcased the best culinary talent from across the country as 10 top chefs competed in three events over two days: Mystery Wine, Black Box and Grand Finale. Chef Alex Kim from Five Sails Restaurant in Vancouver took home top honours. Hometown competitor Chef Lizardo Becerra from Raphäels Peruvian Cuisine won a People's Choice Award.
Over 1000 guests enjoyed spectacular food, wines, spirits and live entertainment by JUNO Award winner Johnny Reid.
Hosted at Rogers Centre and La Cite Collegiale Jan 31st- Feb 1st, the event not only celebrated Canadian culinary and winemaking excellence but also raised big money for national and local charities: Musicounts, Spirit North, Ottawa Network for Education and BGC Ottawa.
