Dear PGA WEST Residential Association Homeowners,

We want to thank all homeowners for their participation with the “On-Demand” Pool and Spa heating program for 2025. The Board of Directors, Pool Committee, and Management appreciate your engagement and cooperation as we work toward providing a sustainable and enjoyable experience for all.

When the “On-Demand” program was introduced, it was noted that if the demand for heated pools exceeds the allocated budget, adjustments may be necessary to stay within budgetary constraints.

Unfortunately, the transportation cost via SoCal Gas experienced an unforeseen increase, which has resulted in the Association being over budget in natural gas cost. In accordance with the Association’s On-Demand guidelines, it is necessary to reduce the number of pools being heated through the end of May 2025.

The following pools will not be heated for the remainder of May 2025:

STADIUM SIDE:

• Pool 2A at 54-730 Oak Tree
• Pool 9A at 80-459 Oak Tree
• Pool 8B at 56-301 Pebble Beach

PALMER SIDE:

• Pool 13A at 54-045 Oak Hill.
• Pool 37A at 54-990 Riviera
• Pool 14A at 55-306 Shoal Creek
• Pool 19A at 54-707 Shoal Creek
• Pool 1T at 54-246 Tanglewood
• Pool 4G at 55-069 Tanglewood

Please note, at this time the spas at the above locations will continue to be heated.

These pools have been selected based on their proximity to other pool areas that will continue to remain heated. Below is a list of alternate pools for your convenience:

STADIUM SIDE:

• In lieu of Pool 2A, you may utilize Pool 7A at 54-290 Oak Tree, or Pool 3B at 55-470 Oak Tree
• In lieu of Pool 9A, you may utilize Pool 7A at 54-290 Oak Tree or Pool 10A at 80-575 Oak Tree
• In lieu of Pool 8B, you may utilize Pool 7B at 54-902 Inverness, or 11B at 80-761 Cherry Hills

PALMER SIDE:

• In lieu of Pool 13A, you may utilize Pool 5A at 54-145 Oak Hill
• In lieu of Pool 37A, you may utilize Pool 36AA at 55-380 Riviera
• In lieu of Pool 14A, you may utilize Pool 16A at 54-864 Shoal Creek
• In lieu of Pool 19A, you may utilize Pool 16A at 54-864 Shoal Creek, or Pool 21A at 54-395 Shoal Creek
• In lieu of Pool 1T, you may utilize Pool 7G at 55-279 Tanglewood
• In lieu of Pool 4G, you may utilize Pool 2T at 54-742 Tanglewood

We recognize this may be inconvenient for some residents, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we continue to manage resources effectively. We will continue to monitor the natural gas usage and adjust as necessary to stay within budget.

Please note, from June 1 through September 30 no pools will be heated; however, the Association will heat spas on an ‘On Demand’ basis throughout the summer. Please either place a work order online at pgawest.org advising which spa you would like heated and for what duration of time. You may also request that a spa be heated by contacting the PGA WEST Member Service Center at (760) 771-1234.
