Southern Utah Art Guild
Sponsors Washington City Arts Council
Did you know that SUAG as a 501(c)3 started the Washington City Arts Council?
Southern Utah Art Guild (SUAG) promotes the growth and development of the visual arts throughout Southern Utah by providing opportunities, education and support for its membership including individuals, patrons and organizations.
The guild welcomes both the novice and professional artist from all visual art mediums.
Southern Utah Art Guild's goal is to fulfill our mission statement by helping all artists in Southern Utah.
It came to our attention that the city of Washington did not have an organization to help grow the arts and artists in their community. SUAG won a grant from Washington City to create a Board of Directors that would develop and orchestrate educational programs and workshops based around the arts.
As a result, WCAC had a very successful spring with workshops, community events and an Art Gala so far this year, as well as a full fall line up of workshops, art shows, guest speakers and children's workshop starting in September.
Follow the Washington City Arts Council for the upcoming events on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/wcacut
