Ohio Commissions on Fatherhood Banner

REQUEST FOR GRANT APPLICATIONS RELEASED
The Ohio Commission on Fatherhood (OCF) has released a request for grant applications (RFGA) for state fiscal years 2018 and 2019.  Once again, two levels of funding will be offered:
  • Level A: $120,000 a year for established fatherhood programs serving multiple Ohio counties
  • Level B: $50,000 a year for established fatherhood programs serving a single Ohio county and/or established fatherhood programs that have not previously receive OCF funding, regardless of the number of counties served.

A maximum of five organizations will receive Level A funding, and a maximum of two will receive Level B funding.  Organizations should assess their qualification and apply for either Level A or Level B funding.  Organizations may NOT apply for both.

Applications are due by 3:00 PM on April 5, 2017.

SFY 2016 ANNUAL REPORT
The commission's SFY 2016 (July 1, 2015-June 30, 2016) annual report is available on our website.  Because the primary grantees the commissions funds are in the midst of a two-year grant cycle, this is an abbreviated mid-cycle report.  The report summarizes OCF initiatives, pilot projects and the methodology used to measure the effectiveness of OCF-funded programs.
JOB POSTING AT OCF
The commission has just posted a new job opening for a Researcher 2 to work on the federal grant, New Beginnings for New Fathers.  Applications are due March 3rd by 11:59PM.
