RFK Campus Community Residents and Friends:
On behalf of the Events DC team and our Board of Directors, we have determined it to be in the best interest of all our residents to postpone upcoming events at our venues and extend suspending operations and services until April 27, 2020. We thank Mayor Muriel Bowser for her steadfast leadership during these unprecedented times to help keep our community healthy and safe.
Specifically on the RFK Campus, the following venues will be closed for use: RFK Stadium, DC Armory, The Fields at RFK Campus, and Festival Grounds at RFK Campus. Inclusive in these closures are the RFK Campus batting cages, the playground and events pavilion at The Fields, and the weekly RFK Farmer's Market.
Additionally, the following Events DC venues will be closed for use: Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Gateway DC and R.I.S.E. Demonstration Center.
Events DC will resume full operations on April 27.
Events DC is in constant communication and collaboration with the Mayor, Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development and DC Department of Health for guidance and additional information.
