Financial Aid Reminders:
System delays are being experienced and the university has advised that no late fees or de-registering will take place this semester. Please ensure you have completed and submitted your 2023-2024 FAFSA & HESSA application if you are eligible to do so.
Additionally all RFS Scholars attending RU this Fall MUST have a completed RFS Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on file via your myrutgersportal
- Go to your dashboard
- Scroll down to the financial aid section
- A tab named "Documents" should be visible
- The RFS MOU should be labeled "accepted" or "requested"
- If "requested" appears: Download and provide all necessary signatures and submit the docs; If "accepted" appears you are good to go!
If you do not see the MOU please email a screenshot with your RUID & NetID to Miss Zoe.
Likewise any financial aid question please include a screenshot of your term bill and email Miss Zoe promptly.
Scholar Communications:
All scholars currently enrolled at Rutgers should have access to the RFS Canvas page. More updates will be posted in the coming weeks so stay tuned. If you do not have access please email Miss Zoe!
*First year undergrads/RU Transfer scholars also should have received an invitation to join the RFS Propel Series via Canvas. Please be sure to follow-up!*

STEM Career Mentoring Opportunity with BMS!
The mentor application for the BMS BOLD ACES (Achieving Competence and Excellence in STEM) Mentorship program is now open! The deadline to apply to be a mentee is September 22th, 2023, 11:59pm EST.
BOLD (Black Organization for Leadership and Development), a People and Business Resource Group at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), has recently developed the ACES (Achieving Competence and Excellence in STEM) Mentoring Program to promote the study of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) courses in middle school, high school and college, and to provide encouragement and the pursuit of STEM-related careers.

- Our interview process occurs on a rolling basis and includes a 1st round digital HireVue interview, followed by final-round face to face interviews. Take flight with a FREE passport thanks to RGSA
Rutgers Global-Study Abroad (RGSA) has launched their free passport initiative across all three of our campuses. On a weekly basis, RGSA will be covering the costs for students to obtain their passports in hopes to broaden your horizons. Purchasing a passport can sometimes cost up to $200! Roughly only 200 slots are available for students, so take advantage of this wonderful opportunity by completing this application today.

RFS PROPEL FUND
This fund is intended to provide support to scholars actively enrolled at Rutgers University by providing financial support for co-curricular and experiential learning opportunities. This fund will support, but is not limited to stipends for unpaid co-ops and internships; study abroad programs; undergraduate research projects; alternative spring-break service trips; graduate school test preparation; professional development conferences; and advanced courses unavailable in traditional semesters. The Fund will also supplement related costs associated with these experiences such as, but not limited to, purchase of professional attire; commuting; and educational and/or technology software or materials.
