MAY 2018
MAY 7-13th is MENTAL HEALTH WEEK

Assessing Youth Mental Health
Assessing youth mental health is a complex process that should be done by a qualified health care professional. However, if you recognize symptoms or have concerns about the mental health of a colleague or student, initiating dialogue on the matter is an important first step.

This  stress test  can be completed by a student by himself or herself or in discussion with a concerned adult.
The stress test is for information only and is not a diagnostic test.

The Alberta Teachers Association presents:
HATS ON FOR MENTAL HEALTH

On May 2, 2018, Albertans are invited to wear a hat to raise awareness of the importance of good mental health. Participating schools will relax their hat rules and encourage students and teachers to build understanding by wearing hats to school.
