Welcome to the magical month of May - a time to celebrate new beginnings and personal growth! With all the flowers popping up and trees blooming, we artists can't help but be inspired. Nothing helps us grow more than when we seek out those teachers & mentors who inspire and challenge us to learn new things and become better versions of ourselves. Here at RG we LOVE our Teachers ~ We're happy to offer an ongoing advertising opportunity on our RG Community Teachers Database - A curated list of Artists & Teaching Professionals in NYC. If you teach at any of our 4 RG locations, this list is a great way to promote your class to a wider audience. Your info will be accessible to our community via our website, Monthly Newsletter (60K+ Subscribers) and Social Media platforms (20K+ Followers). And the best part is... It's FREE to be included through June 30th.

Beautiful May, a true gift.. What a lovely month we have in May, a month of new temperatures and new projects. The winds will diminish and the flowers will not have to withstand the cold, very breezy air. We can clean our homes, yards, properties as well as our apartments. We can inspect and review our belongings. Old, worn, outdated Winter clothes to be pulled out and culled from our closets and storage areas. Sell, give away, trash or store. You have the power. Same with old carpets, curtains, towels, sheets, covers etc. Look around and make your living space "liveable". Free up you living spaces of clutter and "old" things, help free your mind. Clean collectibles and closet areas. Exchange the air by opening windows on special weather days and use fans and filters. Time to go "outside", turn off the TV and computer, put down the phone, commune with nature and your fellow hobbits. Eat lighter, exercise with fun and vigor, socialize and make new friends. Start projects that give you creative satisfaction and finish them. Do not procrastinate any longer. Fulfill your work duties and relationship efforts with aplomb. May is a gift and it signifies the "warmer" days to come and to enjoy. Put off trips and adventures no longer. Plan ahead. Take forays with meaning and joy in your heart.
Start meditation, yoga, or like physical/emotional/spiritual activities. Do some really gung-ho energetic projects; test yourself, don't get rusty. Experiment with food and do your best to go forward with fewer meals that depend on other living creatures' demise to satisfy your hunger.
See you at the Studios this Spring! Better and better, Patricia

Hi Everyone! I had a busy April as I've been planning my big trip to Paris and London! I made time for one concert last-minute before leaving for Paris and it was to see the band Saint Motel. They've been one of my favorite bands for years and I've seen them a few times since 2017. I went down to Washington DC to see them the day before my flight to Paris. It was so worth the same-day trip! I made some friends there and 4 of us got to have a Q&A with them before the show. I talked to them about how I used to learn their songs on the sax in high school and wanted to tour with them. After the show the lead singer talked to me and said I should bring my instrument and join the sax player that joins them on tour next time! Of course it's not as easy as that, but it was really nice to know they were so happy that I had learned their songs.
During this trip with my Mom, I'll be seeing Twenty One Pilots in Paris. Then we'll be taking the train to London where I'll be seeing them again in Birmingham, both of their closing London shows, and possibly Manchester in between those. I'm so excited to see them a few more times this tour and to spend some more time in these cities!
Until next month, Jeannie
