A Message from the Mayor
Residents, Businesses and Visitors,

Each day, we are receiving new information about the growing concern of COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019). As a City, we are processing the information and what it means to our community. As a result, the City of Rolling Hills Estates has joined many other cities in our region in issuing a local emergency proclamation in response to this global pandemic.
The proclamation of a local emergency helps to ensure a coordinated public health response and allows us to tap state and federal resources, including reimbursements for any expenses we may incur. The issuance of this declaration also simplifies the City’s purchasing requirements for any needed supplies.
The measures we are taking better position our City to respond to community needs. These are extraordinary times that are testing governments, businesses and our residents in ways we have not experienced. We must remain vigilant, informed and prepared. We ask our residents and business community to do the same. We are monitoring and listening to the health and policy experts at the federal, state and county levels and taking actions to adhere to requirements or implement policies based upon health expert recommendations. Please remain calm and, together, we will get through this.
