The following Counselor's Corner events will be held on the upcoming early release dates:

January 29: Complete the App 5:30 - 6:30 in the RHS library computer lab. Suzanne Luck from the RCCF will be here to work with seniors and their families to help them successfully complete the RCCF scholarship application. (See attached flyer)

January 29: PSAT test results and info; 6:00 - 700 in the RHS library. Jane Spencer will distribute fall PSAT results, explain what they mean, and talk about strategies to grow those scores to help kids prepare for the SAT (grades 8-11)

February 26: Career Technical Education; 6:00 - 7:00 in the RHS library. Jane Spencer will explain the options kids have to earn college credits and professional certifications beyond the traditional courses offered at our high school. This evening's discussion is designed to provide information, answer questions, and assist families as they begin planning how to access career technical education programs through COOR and Wexford ISD's. (grades 10-11)

March 11: Dual Enrollment, Advanced Placement, and CLEP: Earning College credit in your high school; 6:00 - 7:00 in the RHS library. Jane Spencer will explain the options to earn college credits through three different avenues (grades 10-11)

April 29: Scheduling 101: Plan your Path: 6:00 - 7:00 in the RHS library. Jane Spencer will explain graduation requirements and the many ways there are to fulfill them. Question and Answer to follow (grades 8 - 11)

Early Release on January 29th

Parent/Teacher conferences are February 24th from 5:00 - 7:00
