PTSA NEWS

Staff Appreciation Week Wrap-up

Staff Appreciation Week is an opportunity for the RHS PTSA to celebrate and thank the RHS staff for all that they do for our students, school, and community. During the week of May 5-9, we celebrated our amazing RHS staff with a week of eats and treats.

We started the week with Cinna-Monday. Staff were treated to a buffet of cinnamon baked goods and breakfast treats.

On Tuesday, we provided a picnic themed lunch. The menu included sandwiches from Jersey Mike’s, chips, fruit, dessert and drinks.

Mid-week, staff were invited to “pop in” to the staff lounge for a popcorn bar. A variety of candy, homemade and store-bought popcorn options were on offer.

Thursday brought the return of a staff favorite, the Los Chilangos food truck. They served our staff a wonderful lunch in the May sunshine.

We ended our Staff Appreciation Week with cake on Friday. Thanks a bundt-ch, RHS staff.

Additionally, we thank our generous RHS PTSA members who answered the call for donations of food, drinks, and time. Special thanks to Lisa, Kyle, Cathy, and Yin for helping with food transport, set-up and clean-up during this week of celebration.
