Homecoming Committee Needs Your Help with Snacks

Hello RHS Families: RHS PTSA is collecting snacks for the Homecoming Dance. Please sign up to bring in a snack by Friday, October 13. Snacks can be dropped off at the front office between now and October 13 during school hours in the box marked Homecoming. All gluten-free and vegan cookies need to be individually wrapped and store bought.

Reminder - Upcoming Practice Digital SAT!

Our fall practice SAT test is fast approaching. This is the new Digital SAT format being offered for the first time at RHS. This full-length practice test, administered by Princeton Review, offers students the opportunity to practice test taking strategies and determine baseline scores prior to taking the official SAT college entrance exam. Scores are not reported to anyone other than the student. Students can choose to take the tests online from home or in-person at RHS. There will be no time flexibility provided for in-person tests. Online tests offer accommodation for time and can be taken up to 4 weeks from exam date. Click here for more information and to register.

Fall Practice Test SAT - Digital Format (online or in-person) - Saturday, October 21, 2023 - 8:30am-11:00am. Deadline to register - Wednesday, October 18, 2023.

Volunteers Needed for Homecoming Dance

Volunteers are needed to help make the Homecoming Dance a success! The Homecoming Dance will take place on Saturday, October 14. Please consider signing up to work the coat check station, photo book or food table. All volunteers must be LWSD approved.

Band Fundraiser at MOD Pizza on October 12!

Join the Band Boosters ​and help ​support your RHS Mustang Band by heading to the Redmond Bella Bottega MOD Pizza! on Thursday, October 12. Funds raised will be used in various ways including: bringing in speakers/specialists to teach, funding senior scholarships, and instrument purchases and repairs. The fundraiser runs all day so anytime you ​eat there on October 12, ​you'll be raising money for the band – don’t forget to bring in the flyer or use the online code: MODGIVES25

Food Truck Friday at the Football Game on October 13!

Come on out to the Homecoming Football game and grab a bite to eat while you’re there. Food trucks will be available starting at 5pm for the general public (4:30-5pm they will service the Band, Dance, and Cheer Teams). The line-up is as follows:

Get in the groove for the RHS production of Mamma Mia! with a Disco BINGO Night on Friday, October 20 at 6pm.

Wear your best 70's gear for our photobooth and play 10 rounds of BINGO (3 cards per round) for only $15. Between our disco lighting, fabulous prizes, and amazing raffle, you will be entertained by the cast of Mamma Mia! in musical numbers from the show.

Mark your calendars for the Annual RHS College Fair on Wednesday, October 25, 6-8pm in the Cafeteria hosted by your College and Career Center (CCC)! Everyone is welcome and there is no registration required. You can connect with college reps and get your questions answered at this fair. Parent Chat through Balance in Mind

Balance in Mind is a Lake Washington Schools Foundation program that works with community partners to raise awareness about emotional and mental health challenges facing our youth, to empower parents, and to build communities where our kids grow up healthy, resilient, and equipped for life.

Each month, Parent Chat experts in youth mental wellness host interactive discussions around topics such as anxiety, depression, social media, and more. Online presentations are Wednesday evenings from 7-8pm.
