Practice SAT/ACT tests - Fall Registration is Open!
|
The PTSA aims to help our students do their best on college entrance exams and holds independent practice SAT and ACT tests in the fall and spring. These full-length practice tests, administered by Enhanced Prep, offer students the opportunity to practice test taking strategies and determine baseline scores prior to taking the official SAT and ACT college entrance exams. Students in any grade can take these tests and scores are not reported to anyone other than the student.
Students can choose to take the tests online from home or in-person at RHS. There will be no time flexibility provided for in-person tests. Online tests offer accommodation for time to be arranged with Enhanced Prep.
- Fall Practice SAT (in-person or online) - Saturday, September 28, 2024 - 9am-11:15am. Registration deadline - Monday, September 23, 2024.
- Fall Practice ACT (in-person or online) - Saturday, November 9, 2024 - 9am-12:30pm. Registration deadline - Monday, November 4, 2024.
- Spring Practice SAT (in-person or online) - Saturday, February 22, 2025 - 9am-11:15am. Registration deadline - Monday, February 17, 2025.
- Spring Practice ACT (in-person or online) - Saturday, March 15, 2025 - 9am-12:30pm. Registration deadline - Monday, March 10, 2025.
For more information and to register, please visit our website.
We don’t want financial circumstances to be a factor in considering whether or not your child will take these practice tests. If there are financial concerns, please send an email to testprep@redmondhsptsa.org. We can work with you if you need financial help.

PTSA Volunteer Opportunities
|
Are you interested in getting more involved and help improve our school community? We have several key PTSA positions open that we would like you to consider:
-
President – The role of a president may seem huge but if you like being a leader, this may be the role for you. There is training to learn the official PTSA stuff and lots of other board members who will be there for support and guidance. The president position can also be filled with 2 people as Co-Presidents.
-
Membership Chair - The Membership Chair will lead membership recruitment efforts to families and RHS staff. The chair will maintain up-to-date member records using approved software to ensure that RHS PTSA membership is in sync with the state membership roster.
-
VP Family and Community Engagement – This is a board position where you can have big impact! The VP will work with Board and the school administration to provide educational and informational events/speakers for the school community on issues that are of concern or of importance to our school community. This VP will also oversee the annual Arts Fair event.
We would love to work with you! If you would like more information about any of these positions, please email volunteers@redmondhsptsa.org.

Your help is needed for checking-in coats, handing out refreshments, and taking pictures of the fabulous RHS students. Let's help out the ASB and make it special for all the kids!
We've split the event into multiple volunteer shifts, so sign up for one shift or do multiple and stay the whole night. We appreciate your help any way you can!
