2022 STAC Grants: Call for Proposals
In partnership with RI C-AIM, the Rhode Island Science and Technology Advisory Council (STAC) is offering $380,000 in competitive funding for projects that address research questions relating to the coastal and marine ecosystems of Narragansett Bay.

Projects that provide measures to translate research into K-12 and undergraduate classrooms to provide new learning experiences and to broaden participation of underrepresented minorities are encouraged. Project teams must be collaborative in nature and include investigators from at least two RI C-AIM partner institutions.

Narragansett Bay Estuary Program: Vision 2032
Thursday, Sept. 26

Every ten years, the Narragansett Bay Estuary Program brings together folks across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut to refresh a plan for the region. The plan will comprise of 30-50 individual Action Plans that tackle different facets of our work on water, wildlife and habitat, quality of life. Learn more & attend planning meeting on Sept. 16

Public perceptions of water quality: a study
In their latest publication, RI C-AIM investigators Dr. Tracey Dalton, Dr. Katherine Lacasse and doctoral candidate Ken Hamel detail years of work on the public's perception of water quality and recreational use of Narragansett Bay, as well as implications for policymaking and management.
