2021 RI SURF Conference is
in-person!
The 2021 RI SURF Conference on July 30 will be in-person! Held in partnership with RI-INBRE at the University of Rhode Island, the conference will showcase research conducted by students from across our eight institutions over the 10-week summer experience.
Don't forget! RI C-AIM investigators are highlighting recent research through our Brown Bag Seminar Series(Zoom links under Events Schedule below) every Thursday at 12 pm. These webinars are open to anyone in the RI C-AIM community.
RI C-AIM Career Development Program: Summer Intensive
July 23 & 24
This July, URI's Metcalf Institute will hold a two-day online professional development workshop via Zoom. The program will explore a variety of science communication tools, methods, and competencies, including fundamentals of science communication, data visualization, and more. Participation in the intensive will count towards the RI C-AIM Career Development Program certificate. Details forthcoming!

RI STAC funds crucial marine-based research
As part of its Collaborative Research Grant Program, the RI Science and Technology Advisory Council has funded five interdisciplinary research teams of investigators from institutions across the state. The program supports RI NSF EPSCoR/RI C-AIM’s objectives to assess, model, and develop innovative technologies for addressing the impacts of climate variability around Narragansett Bay and beyond.
