Student Spotlight
URI's Rebecca Stevick
For the past four years, Rebecca Stevick has been up close and personal with a staple Rhode Island seafood species: oysters. Now, the fourth year doctoral student has co-authored her first paper on how bivalves can be used as models for human health.

  • Roby Luna, URI alumnus and entrepreneur, will speak at the next Anthony J. Risica Lecture Series on Innovation & Entrepreneurship, on Monday, March 25, 3-4:30 p.m., at URI's Robert J. Higgins Welcome Center. Click here for more info.

  • URI's College of the Environment & Life Sciences is holding a summer internship workshop for URI CELS students on Wednesday, March 27, 5 - 6:30 p.m., CBLS 100 (Ryan Family Auditorium). The workshop will provide guidance on the internship application process, such as with interviewing and networking.
