The local Philip Petry AMVETS Post #122
(American Veterans who have served or are serving in the Armed Forces of the United States during and since World War II)
will be celebrating their re-introduction of Veteran’s Fishing Day and the Veteran access to their campground on Lake Unky.
The Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a Ribbon Cutting in celebration on
Tuesday, August 29 at Noon
within the campsite on Lake Unky in West Ishpeming.
Media and the public are encouraged to attend this celebration!
