Need A Little Extra Help?
Saturday School Sessions start this week!

As students head into the home stretch, preparing for AP and IB Exams, End of Course Assessments, and the FSA, many of our teachers will be available on the following Saturdays from 9am-12pm.  Below is a list of subjects offered for this Saturday and next (room assignments will be posted when students arrive)! Please keep in mind that this schedule is subject to change.  Beginning this Saturday, February 16, with additional Saturday Schools on 3/2, 3/30, 4/6, 4/27, 5/4, and 5/11.  More details to come!  

 

  Robinson High School's award-winning College and Career Center (nicknamed "the Cube")  is seeking volunteers to assist RHS students with the exploration of their college, career,  or military options and helping them to clarify their plans for after they graduate. Orientation and training is provided for new volunteers. Flexible hours are also available for help with special projects and clerical tasks.
 
Come to an Open House in the Cube office
  Friday February 22nd at 12:00 noon
 to learn more about how you can become involved. 

Incoming parents of students from 2023 class are welcome too!

College Board has a number of scholarship opportunities that are awarded monthly!  Check out the attached flyer for more details on how you could be eligible.    
IB Class of  2023
 
The Robinson IB Class of 2023 offers have been released. Families can check their student's status through the district's website at www.sdhc.k12.fl.us until Feb. 14th. Please get the word out to anyone you know who has applied! 

We look forward to welcoming our new Knights to the Robinson Family.  
RHSF Partner's Party
Save the Date!

You will not want to miss this year's Partners Party! The RHS Foundation (RHSF) is hosting a partner's party to thank our community and family partners on Thursday, March 14. All current partners (family or business donors at the $150 level or higher) will receive an invitation with event details soon. 

It is not too late to attend and support our school in the process!

CAS Opportunity

The Chiselers , an organization devoted to the preservation of the historic Tampa Bay Hotel at the University of Tampa, is in need of volunteers for their Chiselers Patrons Preview Party on March 15, 2019 from 5:00-9:30 p.m. Volunteer participation  has been pre-approved by Mrs. George. IB Class of 2019 Senior Banquet

The IB Class of 2019 Senior Banquet will be held on April 28! Attention IB Senior Parents!
Banquet  Slide Show Pictures needed

One of the highlights of the IB Senior Banquet is a slide show of the graduating class. It is streamed throughout the evening and very important that all our seniors are included! Please send 3 pictures of your Senior: 1 Baby Picture, 1 Picture of your choice (not their yearbook photo),  and 1 Group Picture.  We will already include the Senior Picture that was submitted for the Yearbook. 

The dealine for picture submissions is March 8, 2019.  Photos should be clearly marked with your student's name either in the email or file name by Last Name, First Name. Please submit your photos by email to Jennifer Takagishi at RHSIBSeniorBanquet@gmail or via Flash Drive/CD delivered to Ms. Seal's classroom.  Again, all Emails, Flash Drives or CDs should be clearly marked with the

Feed Your Crowd, Help Our Seniors!

Tutoring and Review Assistance

Robinson students looking for additional academic help have a number of options!

ZAP Free Lunchtime Tutoring
In addition to the many after school tutoring options, Robinson is now holding FREE lunchtime tutoring sessions for students during all 3 lunches.  Students  should ask their teacher for a ZAP Pass (Zeros Aren't Permissible), where they can go to the cafeteria, get their lunch fast, and then zoom over to their tutor's room where they can have individual or small group attention in needed areas.  Click here to download the  ZAP Lunch Time Tutoring Schedule .

ELP Free After School Tutoring

Peer Konnect
Peer Konnect is a software program that allows students to tutor and learn from their peers. RHS students are paired up with other students to get extra help on their coursework, or even earn community service by becoming a tutor themselves! Click here to sign up:  Peer Konnect.

Saturday School 
With IB Exams and EOCs right around the corner, many IB Teachers will be available for reviews during one of our many Saturday School d ates, which will  begin February 16 (see above).  
RIBLI Support for Students
RIBLI provides financial support for students in need of assistance to purchase school books or supplies, to pay fees, or obtain necessary equipment to participate in sports and other extracurricular activities, or to complete summer assignments.
