PSAT Scores

All students that sat for the PSAT in October of 2018 should have received their score report through their Homeroom teachers last week.  Please keep the information as it has many useful tools and links you can use to better help your student at the individual level.  Students will also be able to access a full report through Collegeboard.org.  Don't forget that the volunteers in The Cube are here to help any students take advantage of the free resources available to all of our students.
Parents of Class of 2021

Sophomore Programming sheets are due in the IB Office by January 23rd.
Parents, please take some time to review the RHS IB Programming at  https://rhsibprogramming.weebly.com/  (or click below) where you will find a description of all of the HL and SL options for the required courses. Your student will have a pink programming sheet that you will need to sign and have them return.  Please contact the IB Office should you have any specific questions.

Report Cards: Mark Your Calendars

Reports Cards will be made available for students and families beginning January 24th at https://reportcards.sdhc.k12.fl.us/.  Please remember that the best way to communicate with your child's teacher is through Edsby.
Coffee Talk: For Parents of IB Seniors
January 31, 8:45a
in the Media Center

Parents of our IB Seniors are invited to join Mr. Johnson and Mrs. George at our next Coffee Talk on Thursday, January 31 at 8:45 a.m. They will be  discussing what to expect heading into the final months of senior year, such as: reviewing for exams, graduation, closing out the IB Diploma, etc.
A Message of Hope for Parents

While the often hectic holiday season is over, many of our families will be shifting into the transition to college for our seniors or gearing up for the college application process for our juniors. This can be a time of anticipation and excitement, as well as stress or even disappointment.  The Cube volunteer team and Mrs. George would like to recommend the following article from the Georgia Tech Admission Blog, "Hope for the New Year", by Rick Clark, posted Jan. 7, 2019.   It's an excellent read for all of our IB Parents.

Nominate Our Teachers

Bay News 9 is starting a new initiative in January called  A+ Teachers .  They are asking students or their parents to nominate amazing teachers who go out of their way every day to ensure student success.  Bay News 9 will pick a teacher from the nominees and come out to Robinson to visit their classroom. They produce a feature story on what makes the teacher an awesome educator. Students and Parents, please send an email to  [email protected]  and explain what makes their teacher A+!
