A Message from the Superintendent

Dear Ramapo Indian Hills Families,

As we move into mid-March, there is a palpable sense of momentum across our district. This week, I am especially proud to celebrate the diverse talents of our students—from the grit shown by our Wrestling Champions and the academic excellence of our Academic Decathlon teams to the record-breaking performances at the NJ Meet of Champions.

Beyond the trophies and medals, this week also allowed our dedicated staff to focus on Workplace Wellness, ensuring they have the energy and heart to continue supporting your children every day.

Amid these accomplishments, our juniors are also preparing for an important milestone towards graduation: the NJGPA-A. This assessment provides students with an opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they have developed throughout their academic journey. Furthermore, it also acts as a measure of the strength of our instructional programs and the collective efforts of our school community. Let's support and encourage these students to do their very best!

Please also remember that our schools will be closed on March 20th in observance of Eid. Thank you for your continued partnership in making RIH such a vibrant community.

With gratitude,

Shauna DeMarco

Superintendent, Ramapo Indian Hills Regional High School District

Wellness and Professional Development

Ramapo Indian Hills Regional High School District staff attended a Workplace Wellness Day this week. There was time to connect, recharge, and reset during multiple sessions led by enthusiastic experts and facilitators. Many stepped up to lead activities, share expertise, and create welcoming, engaging, and enjoyable spaces for all.

We thank Keely Leggour for organizing the day’s events and coordinating the many sessions offered across our schools. She dedicated herself to ensuring that there was something meaningful for everyone.

Even the busiest educators benefit from togetherness, laughter and a little time to recharge. Sincere thanks to all who took full advantage of our offerings.

There are an abundance of photos that were taken during the event, please visit the district website to view them.
