Art Show Another great opening night on April 7th highlighting the amazing talent of all of our students! RIH Art Exhibition is up until the end of the month if you couldn’t make it. Thank you to our tremendous Art Staff for all they do for our RIH artists!

Business students visited MetLife Stadium for “Sports Business Day”. Students toured the stadium and heard presentations from 10 executives from the New York Jets in the departments of marketing, ticket sales, media, game planning, promotions, and finance. Executives also spoke about their college and career paths and advised students about their future careers.

Our first Ramapo-Indian Hills Mountain Bike Team competed at the New Jersey Interscholastic Cycling Association’s Race # 1 at Camden County Community College on Sunday, April 10th. The Camden County Community College Trails (12 Miles) were challenging with varying terrain including lengthy downhills, tough climbs, and challenging singletrack. Frosh Evan Wands (IHHS) finished in the top half of his group! Everyone on the team competed and gave 110% today and finished their race! Congrats to all for a great start to the race season!

The Ramapo Business Department welcomed back Lesley Shorr Klein, co-founder of a recruiting agency in New York City and a Ramapo High School parent.  Mrs. Klein presented to two Contemporary Business Technology classes on resume-writing and interviewing skills.

The Indian Hills High School Senior Wellness Class and their teacher Mrs. Robinson took a recent field trip to TopGolf in Edison to learn golf swing techniques from a golf professional. As discussed in the Wellness Class, in the game of golf, if we keep thinking about a mistake we made on a previous hole, or focus solely on our score at the end of 18 holes, our minds become filled with images of the past or future. However, shifting that focus on positive capacities and being fully present in the moment can drastically improve your performance.  

AP Daily Review Reminder

Reminder for all AP Students, the “AP Daily Live Review” begins April 18th.  Tune in and get those brains warmed up for AP exams in May.

Ramapo Relax and Interact participated in Alumni in Recovery’s 🍕Pizza🍕Positivity Project last month, creating more than 80 inspirational cards for clients seeking substance use treatment at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center.  The cards were delivered to the inpatient unit in Paramus along with 🍕🍕 20 pizzas. 🍕🍕  A huge thank you to RHS Student Assistance Counselor and Ramapo Relax, Jasmen Mantashian, and Detective Frank O’Brien for his involvement, as well as to the Franklin Lakes PBA Local 150 in cooperation with the Franklin Lakes Police Department for covering the cost of the pizzas! 

Snow Days

All two (2) snow days built into the current school year calendar were used. As a result, there are no existing snow days to be given back this year. The 2022-23 school calendar has three (3) snow days built-in.
