Ramapo Head Coach Sandy Gordon celebrates with her team after securing career win #300 during the girls basketball game against Northern Highlands in Franklin Lakes on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Coach Gordon is the all time winningest basketball coach in Ramapo High School history and this year's team is currently 17-0 and ranked #4 in the state of New Jersey. Congrats Coach Gordon and our amazing team!
Remembering Coach Gibbs
Ramapo High School recently hosted “White Out” boys and girls basketball in honor of our coach, friend, and hero … Drew Gibbs. Thanks to the efforts of Mr. Roger Schnorrbusch, the RHS Booster club, and the Girls and Boys Basketball Booster clubs for the help and planning of this great event. Mr. Schnorrbusch purchased the decorative t-shirts. Coach Gibbs was a true inspiration to all of us and his mantra of “AS ONE” was the theme of each night. Together with our friends from Northern Highlands and Ridgewood, we competed “AS ONE” and when we saw the sea of white … we remembered our good friend, Coach Drew Gibbs.

After several rounds of experimentation and data collection, Indian Hills students were able to improve their prototypes and results, some achieving 100% accuracy in the sorting task after engineering some solutions to the challenges presented.

Students had a fun, new activity waiting for them when they came into the IH media center this week. In celebration of Valentine's Day, they were given the opportunity to create heart ornaments made from repurposed book pages. All materials were made available to them, along with simple instructions, and the project allowed them to explore their creative side while taking a rejuvenating break from studying. Hearts were seen popping up across the school. The project, which was organized by Mrs. La Chac, will remain in place throughout next week. | |

Mask Mandate Update
February 7, 2022
Today, February 7, 2022, Governor Murphy announced that effective March 7, 2022, the Public Health Emergency that drives the school mask mandate will expire. As a result, beginning March 7th, masks will no longer be required within the Ramapo Indian Hills Regional High School, Franklin Lakes, Oakland, and Wyckoff School Districts (FLOW); rather, masks will be optional for staff, students, and visitors. We will follow up accordingly with NJDOH guidelines as they are updated.
As with all other communicable diseases, we ask that you monitor your children for symptoms, keep them home when sick, or when they have tested positive. Thank you for your continued support. Read more here.
