TODAY is a crucial day for refugees and immigrants!! See three important upcoming opportunities below!:

1.)  Oral Arguments about the Muslim Ban/2nd Executive Order will be heard TODAY at 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time at the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals -- and RIM's Director will be present at the Rally outside the courthouse to lift up messages in support of refugees.

Tune in here to real time audio of the event, as partners from many organizations will be calling on the Administration to rescind the Muslim Ban and the immigration executive orders, and to stop tearing families apart.

Today's rally is part of the #NoMuslimBanEver National Week of Resistance and #AAPIsResist Month of Action.
Also, Disciples Home Missions has joined with many other faith communities in an Amicus Brief in support of rescinding the ban.   See it here

2.)  Join us TODAY for an Interfaith Immigration Coalition Webinar on Faith Communities Mobilizing for World Refugee Day  at Monday, May 8th at 4 p.m. ET /1 p.m. PT. The U.S. has a long and proud history of receiving refugees, yet this administration has been attacking refugees and immigrants through policies such as the Muslim ban and reducing resettlement to record low numbers.

World Refugee Day,  on June 20, provides an opportunity for the faith community to celebrate the refugee community, educate our congregations, and advocate for more welcoming policies. Join the May Interfaith Immigration Coalition learn how your faith community can mobilize for World Refugee Day in June.

To join the webinar, go to  and follow the directions for audio and visual.
