RISE Germany

RISE Germany is a 10-12 week summer internship program for undergraduates in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences, engineering, and computer science. Bachelor students receive the opportunity to work with researchers at universities and research institutions across Germany. The working language is English. Apply by Dec 15th.

University of Applied Science Anhalt

This year's Award for Excellence in International Student Advising was awarded to the University of Applied Science Anhalt by Germany's Federal Foreign Office. It is awarded annually to a German institution of higher education since 1999 and comes with € 20,000 in prize money for establishing structures and services that benefit international students.

Germany's popularity as a study abroad destination has been confirmed once more by the most recent data on international students in Germany. The original goal was to host 350,000 internationals by 2020 - this has been surpassed already in 2016, when 358,895 students from abroad where counted in Germany.
