RISE Germany

RISE Germany is a 8-12 week summer internship program for undergraduates in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences, engineering, and computer science. Bachelor students receive the opportunity to work with researchers at universities and research institutions across Germany. The working language is English. Apply by Dec 15th.

St. Martin's Day in Germany

Even though St. Martin's Day is not an official German holiday, it is a cultural tradition. On November 11th, children and their parents will walk through the streets with home-made lanterns, singing songs such as "Laterne, laterne...sun, moon, and stars" to honor St. Martin, who was reknown for helping people in need.
