Greetings RLMS Parents/Guardians:
I can't believe the holidays have come upon us. Thank you to the PTSA for our annual holiday cart. The teachers and staff appreciate the coffee, hot chocolates and holiday treats. Additional thanks to the PTSA for helping us celebrate the RLMS staff with a holiday luncheon.
We asked our students, staff and community to act globally and locally during the giving season. Congratulations to our Student Leadership Club and of the students at RLMS for collecting over 1,700 cans for our recent holiday can drive. On behalf of Student Leadership and Operation Hope, thank you for all your donations over the past few weeks to the Canned Food Drive. A big thanks as well to all the teachers and students who lugged items and helped coordinate the collection.

| Holiday Carts Hit the Halls |
To show our great appreciation, volunteers were excited to bring some holiday cheer to all the wonderful staff at RLMS last week! We decked the halls with festive carts loaded with cocoa, cookies, candy canes and more! Many thanks to all who baked, bought, decorated, donated, pitched in and/or pushed a cart. Happy holidays to all!

The RLMS PTA encourages all students to participate in the Reflections contest. Reflections is a national PTA arts and literature contest. Students are able to submit pieces of work in six categories: Literature, Visual Arts, Photography, Music Composition (vocal or instrumental), Dance Choreography and Video Production. Students and parents can find all information and the required student entry form
here.
This year's theme is 'What is Your Story'. Student pieces should strongly reflect this theme, as adherence to theme earns more points than other judging categories of mastery of medium and creativity/orginality.
Students may turn in Reflections entries in the office from December 5th - January 9th. Late entries will not be accepted. Please email Reflections Chair

RLMS parents are encouraged to attend BOE meetings in person or watch on Fair TV to see how important decisions get made and affect the quality of education in our town. The link will also allow you to watch past meetings whenever and wherever (phone, tablet, computer) you want.
Meetings are typically held at the Fairfield Public Schools Central Office, 501 Kings Hwy East, starting at 7:30 p.m. Always subject to change. Please check BoE web site
