President's Message
|
Welcome to our Spring Newsletter!
This is my first newsletter as the Chapter President. Our previous President, Ed Benjamin, took a new job with Bank of America in Charlotte, NC, to be closer to family. We thank him for his great service as President of our Chapter. My goal as President, as well as our Board of Directors, is to continue to offer educational opportunities to benefit our membership.
Our board would love to hear from you to learn what topics and types of events interest you most. Currently, the Chapter Board is working on selecting Open Enrollment classes to hold during the time period of Fall 2018 through Winter/Spring 2019. A short survey was emailed on 4/13/18 to our members from "RMA Eastern Iowa Chapter" to allow you to voice your interest
s. Please take time to provide your input.
We have a general membership event, Tax Reform, coming up on May 1st in Dubuque at the Grand River Center. We have two speakers from Honkamp Krueger & Company helping us navigate the wide-sweeping changes to the tax code. Please see the details for this event within this newsletter and consider signing up yourself and others in your organization who may benefit.
Thank you for being a part of the RMA. If you have ideas on how the Chapter could better serve you, we want to hear from you! Please share your thoughts and comments with our Chapter Administrator, Sandy Gruber (
sandy@rmaeasterniowa.org), or contact me directly (
