A MESSAGE FROM RMHC INW PROGRAM DIRECTOR, EMILY ANDREWS
August is a lively month for Ronald McDonald House! You can find our families enjoying the last month of summer making friends with others who are calling RMHC INW home, and enjoying family meals prepared by our generous volunteers.

The House truly becomes a home when families return from the hospital in the evening to find rest and community around our kitchen tables. We create this community with our Make-a-Meal Program. This is our nightly community meal program where groups of families, companies, friends, and more come in and prepare a meal for our current house guests. Make-a=Meal Volunteers help take one more worry away from the families staying with us, allowing parents and caregivers more time to concentrate on supporting and comforting their critically ill or injured children and less time grocery shopping or concerned about preparing balanced meals.

To all of our local friends, we invite you to prepare a meal at the House; meet our families, and see firsthand all that your support in time, talent, and donations have done to build a strong program and special Home. For more information, visit the volunteer tab of our website . To our out-of-town friends, please consider supporting our meal program by having a meal catered, donating pantry items, or sending grocery gifts to families needing additional meal support.

RMHC INW staff are fortunate to spend our days supporting the children and grateful families who find comfort in our walls. We hope you can come and experience it too by volunteering at our "Home-Away-From-Home"!

MEET THE HOLDEN FAMILY
Baby Deanna was born prematurely at 5 weeks and 2 days and is undergoing crucial care in the NICU.

Her older sisters, Daniya and Danira, have become a familiar sight at RMHC INW. You can often find them showing off their coordinated outfits, their sparkling letter "F" necklaces that symbolizes family, and their favorite picture of their baby sister!

Siblings Daniya and Danira are filled with anticipation as they count down the days until their baby sister can venture beyond the hospital walls.
