AUDREY'S CHILDREN
The Story of RMHC's Co-Founder
"Audrey's Children," a film celebrating Dr. Audrey Evans, co-founder of Ronald McDonald House Charities, is set to release in 2024. Starring Natalie Dormer, the film follows Dr. Evans in 1970 as she is recruited to lead the oncology department at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. At a time when 90% of pediatric cancer patients were dying, she risked her career with rebellious, unconventional methods to pioneer new treatments and support families.
"Audrey's Children" recently won an award at the Tribeca Film Festival, highlighting its acclaim and our mission at RMHC. As we honor Dr. Evans' vision of providing comfort for families of seriously ill children, we look forward to the film showcasing her enduring legacy. Stay tuned for updates and join us in celebrating Dr. Evans and RMHC’s remarkable journey!
