Our baby sister, Deanna is very sick, so we are staying at Ronald McDonald House while she stays in the hospital! It's a special place where families can stay when a kid in their family isn't feeling well.

We are so close to her hospital room, that we get to see her EVERY DAY. Mommy says she doesn't know what she would have done without this house.

We've been staying here for a looong time now! It's really fun to be here because we can make friends in the kitchen but have our own rooms too, kind of like a super-duper caring hotel!

The Holden family, from Pasco, WA, has been staying at Ronald McDonald House for a total of 80 days, as they support baby sister Deanna (6 months old) during her treatment for cardiology at Sacred Heart Medical Center. Deanna recently underwent open heart surgery, and the Holden family eagerly awaits the news that will allow them to return home together.

The kitchen is the heart of any home, and our meal volunteers provide just the right touch with a hot fresh meal, cultivating a warm and comforting environment for those staying with us.
