CHEYENNE, Wyo. – RMI, in partnership with the Arizona Office of Tourism, Colorado Tourism Office, New Mexico Tourism Department and Utah Office of Tourism, announced the launch of 4 Corners Global Marketplace™, a new international travel trade event designed to connect the region’s tourism suppliers with top domestic and international travel buyers.
The inaugural event will take place September 7-10, 2027, in Denver, Colorado, bringing together vetted tour operators, receptive operators and travel advisors from key international markets to experience and curate itineraries across the 4 Corners region.
4 Corners Global Marketplace™ will spotlight the region’s diverse travel experiences – from iconic national parks and scenic byways to vibrant cultural heritage and adventure offerings – positioning Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah as a multi-destination hub for international travelers.
“As global travelers increasingly seek longer, experience-rich journeys, the 4 Corners region offers unparalleled opportunities to explore multiple destinations within a single itinerary,” said Andrea Blankenship, Deputy Director, International Sales for the Colorado Tourism Office. “This collaborative effort allows us to elevate our global visibility while creating meaningful business opportunities for tourism partners.”
Developed to generate measurable business outcomes, the marketplace will feature two days of pre-scheduled appointments, targeted networking sessions and destination-focused familiarization tours designed to build product knowledge and foster long-term partnerships. Bringing together 100 regional suppliers (including DMOs, hoteliers, attractions and activity providers) and 50 international buyers for 1:1 appointments will accelerate international visitation by helping travel buyers package and promote multi-state itineraries throughout the four-state region.
The 4 Corners region is well-positioned for international growth, offering a compelling combination of world-renowned landscapes, rich indigenous and cultural heritage and robust transportation access through multiple international gateways. By aligning resources and strategy, the participating states are creating a powerful platform to expand market share and strengthen their collective presence in the global marketplace.
“4 Corners Global Marketplace™ represents the next evolution of regional collaboration in U.S. tourism marketing,” said Mathias Jung, owner and CEO of RMI. “By bringing key international buyers directly to the region, we are creating a high-impact environment for building relationships, increasing product awareness and ultimately driving incremental visitation and economic growth.”
In addition to buyer-supplier engagement, the event will offer sponsorship opportunities for destinations and industry stakeholders seeking to elevate their visibility within the international travel trade landscape.
Early registration will open in March 2027. To learn more and sign up for updates, visit 4cornersglobal.com.
