RMI Welcomes Lupus Foundation of America

RMI has been appointed exclusive list manager and broker for The Lupus Foundation of America.

For over 40 years, this national nonprofit organization has been committed to improving the lives of those afflicted with this autoimmune disease which can cause chronic pain and inflammation in any part of the body.

These direct mail contributors know their gifts ($28 average donation) help fund research to identify the cause and hopefully eradicate this disease which predominantly affects women aged 15-44.

Reigns Supreme
Last month we asked you to weigh in on which Mrs. Field's cookie is your favorite. While we all agree that every flavor is delicious, there was a clear favorite: tried and true Chocolate Chip, with 53% of the votes. Cinnamon Sugar, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut and Triple Chocolate all tied at 13%, with Oatmeal Raisin rounding out the bottom at 8%. Thanks to those who voted. Brookfield Burn Place 4th
in 10U Softball World Series
Update! Last month we reported that Carly Gallagher, daughter of RMI's Alicia Gallagher, was headed to Florida to compete in the Babe Ruth 10U Softball World Series with her team the Brookfield Burn. We are happy to report that the team placed fourth overall in the competition. They were also honored to receive the tournament's Sportsmanship Award. Carly (middle row, forth from left), pitches and plays third base and outfield for the team. Alicia is "one proud mama." Congratulations from everyone at RMI on a great season!
New Report Warns of Extreme Weather Due to Climate Change
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's latest report finds that climate change will continue to cause extreme weather events. Collin O’Mara, president and CEO of the National Wildlife Federation calls for a sense of urgency, "This report drives home the reality that there is absolutely no time to waste. We desperately need to invest in zero-emission 21st-century infrastructure, while bolstering the resilience of communities across the country." Read full article here.
