Empowering Leaders to Grow and Serve
Greetings RMS Families,

Students and teachers are rocking it here at RMS! Although things are a little different this year, we are so excited to be together and working toward our mission of Empowering Leaders to Grow and Serve! Our students put together our first student-led virtual assembly celebrating first quarter and it was great! Check out some pictures below!

Thank you,

Veterans' Day Pictures for Virtual Assembly
We are needing pictures from RMS families of your family members who have served or are currently serving in the military. These photos will be displayed for our students and staff to view and honor during our upcoming virtual assembly. Please send your photo and information (include name of RMS student, name of family member, military branch, and rank) to Abbie Groves (8th grade History teacher) at abigail.groves@republicschools.org by Friday, November 6th. Thank you!
RMS 1st Quarter Virtual Assembly
On October 26th, RMS participated in our first student-led, building-wide virtual assembly. We celebrated fall sports, Top Tigers, and our LEAD 7 Habit award recipients!

Free/Reduced Meal Applications
Although ALL STUDENT MEALS ARE FREE through the end of the school year, the free/reduced meal status of our students provides many other opportunities outside of meals. The percentage of students who qualify for free/reduced meals in our district allows our schools to receive important federal funds. Because of the free meal program many of our families have not completed the meal application this year and therefore, we're at risk of losing important funding that supports student literacy growth, Leader in Me resources and various programs that provide needs for our most at-risk learners.

The current pandemic has impacted many Republic families in ways that may have changed their eligibility. Even if your family has not qualified for free or reduced price meals in the past, the only way to confirm your eligibility is to complete the application.

Please call 735-3753 with any questions.
