Someone to Talk To
Counseling and Testing Service provides free counseling and biofeedback services for students currently enrolled at ISU.
Counseling and biofeedback services include Single session relationship problems, academic difficulties, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, etc.
To make an appointment with a counselor, please call Counseling and Testing Service at (208) 282-2130. Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in summer.

Commencement Rehearsal

Commencement Rehearsal will be held Thursday, May 5 at 3 p.m. via Zoom. Everyone who has RSVPed will receive the Zoom link via email. It will also be posted on the commencement website. The rehearsal will be recorded and made available if you are unable to attend.

All College of Education graduates from 2020 - present and a guest (+1) are invited to attend. A full taco bar will be provided along with free ISU gear.

2022 KDHS Awards Ceremony

The KDHS will host its annual awards ceremony for students and their families, along with the ISU Outstanding Student Achievement Award recipient and the Professional Achievement Award recipient.

March through the Arch

Each fall, new students pass through the Swanson Arch the original entrance to ISU’s first building to campus in a spirited ceremony. In May and December, graduates look to the future by passing back through the arch away from campus. This symbolizes entering the campus as new students and exiting as Bengal alumni. Family and friends welcome!

Whitewater Trip on the Owyhee River

The Lower Owyhee from the Rome boat launch to Birch Creek takeout is a rare wilderness experience that few get to encounter. The Owyhee Canyon offers spectacular cliffs, white water rapids, and camping.
