Someone to Talk To
Counseling and Testing Service provides free counseling and biofeedback services for students currently enrolled at ISU.
Counseling and biofeedback services include Single session relationship problems, academic difficulties, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, etc.
To make an appointment with a counselor, please call Counseling and Testing Service at (208) 282-2130. Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in summer.

Coping with Suicide Loss

Losing a loved one to suicide can be a profoundly painful and isolating experience. The complexity of the emotions can feel overwhelming and often survivors struggle to know who to talk to for fear others won't understand. In this presentation we will discuss some of these factors, normalize reactions, and engage in a discussion designed to help participants gain greater understanding and support. understanding and support.

You are invited to a workshop series in spring 2022: (Re)Cultivating & (Re)Newing Reciprocal Research: Working toward collaborative Tribal-University research relationships. This in-person workshop series is designed to facilitate co-investigation, introspection, and discussion about the development of more equitable, collaborative research relationships among Idaho Tribes, communities, and universities.

All-Abilities Yurt Trip

The Mink Creek yurt is located about 25 yards from the parking lot, which will simplify access. Come and enjoy the yurt experience with all of the luxuries of car camping plus a wood burning stove. The Mink Creek Nordic Center has around 10 miles of groomed trails for XC skiing and snowshoeing. Fees cover transportation, yurt rental, dinner, and fuel.
